Who We Are

The Bicentennial City-County Public Library system is located at 825 Backus Street, Courthouse Basement. The Bicentennial City-County Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the Paducah and Cottle County boundaries with services available to all others. 

The library system holds over materials including over 13,815 books, and 952 compact discs, cassette tapes and books on cassette. Over 1,272 Videocassettes and DVD's are also now available for check-out. We also have four computers for public use.

In total, over 2,269 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2014-2015! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s fiber-optic connection, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
