How do you feel about throwing books away? It really upsets me and I hope it does you, too. So, the Bicentennial City-County Library will be hosting something new for our patrons. Classes in recycling books that have been weeded from our collection by turning their pages into flowers, conducted by Christina Anguiano, will begin from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, in the Reference Room of the library. There will be a small fee for Christina’s time and expertise. If you have any questions, please contact the library at 806-492-2006. There is an answering machine so if the library is closed when you call please leave a message and I will get back to you.

I would like to start having more classes that would be of interest to the public. If you would be interested in any classes possibly in learning how to use a computer, researching your family history, crafts, or any other area in which you are interested please let me know your ideas and we will try to come up with a way to make it happen.

Also, we recently received donations of new-to-us movies on DVD and some on Blu-Ray.  The titles include The Prince and Me, Knight and Day, Wedding Planner, Hannibal Lecter, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Top Gun, the Crow, Sweet Home Alabama,   Dirty Dancing, Tin Cup, Clash of the Titans, Ghost, I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Robot, Legend, Mockingjay Part 2, Beaches, White Christmas, Harry Potter, Mean Girls, Hitch, The Backup Plan, American Beauty, the break-up, Catwoman, Jaws, The Golden Child, Romancing the Stone, Revelation and Tribulation.  Come by and check them out.
